Fueling Greatness: Student Intern Services Michael Jordan’s Aircraft

Our aviation program continues to provide students with hands-on industry experience—and sometimes, unforgettable moments.

Jahquae Davis, a student in Mr. Gatlin’s class and part of Advantage Academy’s Aviation Program, is currently completing an internship with Precision Air, an FBO located at Florence Regional Airport. Recently, he had the unique opportunity to fuel a private aircraft owned by Michael Jordan. The fueling took place just ahead of the Darlington race weekend, where Jordan co-owns a NASCAR team.

Experiences like this highlight the real-world training our students receive and the exciting environments they step into as part of their education. We’re proud to see students like Jahquae building skills, confidence, and stories they’ll carry throughout their careers.
