2026 SC AviCom
On Tuesday, April 21st, Hayln Thomson, Campbell Tanner, Antonio Rissman, and Grant Evans participated in the 2026 SC AviCom (Aviation Simulator Competition),at Triple Tree Aerodome in Enoree, SC, marking the first year our program competed. These students are second-quarter aviation students, making their participation especially noteworthy as they continue building foundational skills in aviation and simulation. Their involvement reflects a strong commitment to learning, growth, and representing the program competitively.
Campbell Tanner placed third in the state for Ground Knowledge Pre-Solo, an outstanding achievement that reflects both dedication and academic excellence. Campbell is currently a first-year, second-quarter student, making this accomplishment even more impressive given the level of competition. She competed against students who have previously won this event. This recognition highlights Campbell’s strong work ethic, commitment to aviation, and a very promising future in the field.
